Volunteer

Every spring UWCC hosts a Day of Caring – an opportunity to lend a hand to local nonprofits, schools and parks. Activities include landscaping, minor repair work, trash pick up, painting and a variety of other activities. Volunteer sites also act as drop off locations for essential items for nonprofit clientele. Read the details and sign up under the Events tab.

Donate

The arrival of COVID-19 and its effects have compounded existing challenges and dramatically raised the level of need in our community. People who never imagined they would need assistance are now reaching out to United Way for the first time. You can ensure families have a safe place to call home, access to vital utilities, a box of food, or education and training for a better future. Now more than ever, your neighbors need you.

If you wish, any contribution over $50 may be directed to any 501(c)(3), in Oregon or Washington. Donate Now.

Cornerstone Program

Does your company want to support a local nonprofit? Is there a desire for your business name and logo to be more publicly recognized? Those needs and more will be met through a Cornerstone Partnership with UWCC.  Contact UWCC  for more information on how to become a Cornerstone for the community.

Sponsor an Event

Promote your business through a UWCC event sponsorship. Sponsorships range from $500-$10,000 and may include in-kind services or donations. Depending on the level, recognition for event sponsorship can include: logo and link on the UWCC website, social media promotion, public announcements and print recognition at one or all United Way of Clatsop County events.  Find out more about events and contact UWCC for benefits that sponsorships can provide for your business.

Run a Workplace Campaign

United Way of Clatsop County partners with local businesses, government agencies and nonprofits in a community-wide effort to address the human care needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. Organizations from two to two thousand can  conduct a workplace campaign. Last year, more than 1,000 donors invested in our community through their United Way workplace campaign, many utilizing the convenience of payroll deduction. Contact UWCC to see how simple it can be for employees and leadership to give back.

Attend an Event

Whether virtual or in-person, UWCC brings together fun, collaborative, caring individuals, businesses, government and nonprofit organizations to celebrate achievements, honor individuals and raise funds to make our community a better place.  Buy a ticket and come celebrate with us!
