Welcome!

Welcome to United Way of Clatsop County! United Way, a nonprofit agency, serves thousands in our community every year. We are focused on advancing the greater good by addressing issues that matter the most to the areas we serve. United Way has become synonymous with caring and helping children, families and individuals. We have a long tradition of helping people with basic needs-food, clothing, shelter and safety-and changing lives through strong, well-managed programs.

WHEN THERE’S A NEED, THERE’S UNITED WAY

Our mission: To improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of Clatsop County communities. We couldn’t do what we do without the continued support of our caring community! 100% of your tax deductible donation goes to the agencies that we support!

We depend on you, because they depend on us.

Thank you so much for your support!

Everyone in Clatsop County is invited to a free concert featuring
Acustica World Music!

Acustica offers a vintage, global sound featuring diverse musical rhythms such as samba, cha cha, bolero, bossa nova, salsa, rumba, lambada and tango. They have certainly become a beloved part of our community and United Way is happy to host their talents!

This event will be held on Thursday, September 17, from 5:30pm to 8pm in the McTavish Room of the Liberty Theater, 1203 Commercial Street, Astoria.

While there you will also enjoy food, catered by Jonathan Hoffman of the Chef’s Table (and winner of the 2014 Iron Chef Goes Coastal!); beer, sponsored by Fort George Brewery; Wine, donated by Clatsop Distributing and The Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce; and door prizes! Please come help United Way of Clatsop County celebrate! The new campaign season is upon us and we want to get it started with style! Our supported agencies will be there, also, and will be happy to talk to you about what they do.

If you are a business and would like to donate a door prize, feel free to bring it with you to the event! Thank you in advance! Thank you to Charlene Larsen, UWCC Board President, who is the sponsor of the evening’s entertainment.
